Misbun set to return ahead of GP Finals

KUALA LUMPUR: Misbun Sidek’s first assignment with Lee Chong Wei
after resuming duties as national coach is expected to be at the
National Grand Prix Finals in Terengganu from Feb 18-21.
And Chong Wei is the heavy favourite to emerge as the national champion for a ninth consecutive time.
Misbun
is expected to be back at the Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara to coach the
national shuttlers soon after the one-week break for Chinese New Year.
Based
on a positive feedback from Misbun and Badminton Association of
Malaysia (BAM) president Datuk Seri Nadzmi Mohd Salleh after a meeting
last week, a conclusion could be drawn that both parties had arrived at a
win-win agreement to facilitate Misbun’s return as a coach.
Misbun is expected to present a detailed plan to help Chong Wei in his bid to win the gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics.
