Misbun gets offer from Terengganu

KUALA TERENGGANU: The Terengganu government will welcome Misbun Sidek if he wants to join their badminton academy, which will be built soon.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said that the state was looking for a suitable coach, either local or foreigners.
“If Misbun offers his services, then why not?” he said.
Ahmad added that the state were not performing well in badminton and there was a need for an academy in the state to produce champions.
“We have produced champions in cycling and now our focus is on badminton. With the right coach and the commitment from the players, I am confident the academy will succeed,” he said.
Among the top Malaysian cyclists from Terengganu are Mohd Azizulhasni Awang, Anuar Manan and Fatehah Mustapa.
