The Indians capitalised on a below-par performance from the Polish to seal their place in the final with an emphatic 21-19, 21-11 win and will take on

“Frankly speaking, we are not thinking about the money. Winning the title is very important to us and having qualified for the final, that is our aim,” added Jwala.

There was more joy for the Danes in the women’s doubles when Kamilla Rytter Juhl-Lena Frier Kristiansen when they survived a tough three-game encounter against Chinese Taipei’s Cheng Wen Hsing-Chien Yu Chin to win 21-17, 10-21, 21-16 to ensure their place in the final.
Showing greater hunger for victory, the Danes combined a great game of attacking and defence to nullify the attacking play from Wen Hsing-Yu Chin.
“It is a great victory for us and a great opportunity to finish the year on a high note,” said Kamilla.
“We were worried of their attack but we were strong in our defence and that helped.”
On the possibility of playing
“All I can say to them (Eei Hui-Pei Tty) is they have to be stronger in the final if they want to beat us.”
In the women’s singles,
Mew Choo relied on her solid all round game, sending Yao Jie scurrying to all four corners of the court to retrieve the shuttle.
