PROTON-BWF THOMAS & UBER CUP 2010 FINALS: China confident of winning Uber Cup title

Seeking their seventh consecutive title and 12th overall, China were too hot for Indonesia and promised they would beat South Korea in Saturday's final.
Head coach, Li Yongbo said he was proud of his girls' performances as they have only dropped one game en route to the final. Wang Yihan, who beat Saina Nehwal 14-21, 21-11, 21-18 , is the only Chinese player not to win all her matches in straight games.
"We will meet our old foes in the final. We have played South Korea in five previous finals and won them all. I don't think that record will change," said Li. "I'm confident our girls will win the trophy for the 12th time."
Indonesian coach Djendjen, meanwhile, felt Lady Luck denied Indonesia the chance of playing in the final.
"The luck of the draw was not with us. We would have made it to the final if we had met any of the other two semi-finalists (Japan and South Korea )," he said.
"However, we have met our target which was to reach the semi-finals. I'm sure the PBSI (Indonesian Badminton Association) and the fans back home will understand our defeat today. Perhaps it would have been different if we had met in the final."
The omen was not good for Indonesia as Wang Yihan, meeting Maria Febe Kusumastuti for the very first time, only needed 37 minutes to notch a 21-7, 21-12 victory.
Ma Jin-Wang Xiaoli were given a tougher fight by Greysia Polii-Meiliana Jauhari before prevailing 21-17, 21-13 to make it 2-0 while Wang Xin continued her winning record against Adriyanti Firdasari, taking just 34 minutes to register a 21-17, 21-15 victory.
